Well spring has not yet sprung here but some birdies have sung.
Still 4-5 ft snow piles here and there and my yard is pure ice.
So bad that my 4 x 4 chained CUT had a hard time on my hill.
I melts somewhat during the day but that runoff freezes solid by morning.
However it is an ideal Maple syrup spring but still awaiting that 'last one'
We have a saying, "Tempete des corneills", (Crow's storm) which is usually winter's last hurrah and most often a nor'easter.
Sometimes dumping 2-3 ft of horrible heavy wet snow.
Only good thing is it very rapidly melts in the next 24 hours.
Called Crow's storm as the crows are back B4 that last big one.
