Hey, should I grab a filter kit for spring? I was lookin' up air filters and came across this site. Found a kit with a bunch of different filters. Now I’m thinkin’... am I actually gonna use all this, or just tossin’ cash away? :D

I wouldn't. You didn't give us a link. Based on those prices I would be very leery of quality. I personally like to get them from OEM and I see you have a NH. Filters for my NH are expensive. I believe a complete filter change is more than $500. MUCH more expensive than JD which usually ends up being half the price. I

I would definately do the maintenance and service my tractor and change the filters, however I like LHF 2019 am leery of no name filters, so I would seek some filters from Donaldson, Wix, Baldwin , etc or OEM filters if reasonably priced. Someone told me years ago always make time to do maintenance on your equipment or eventually it will make time for you, don't forget to grease everything while you are doing your maintenance, a nickle's worth of grease goes a long way, Good luck.

If the tractor is still under warranty, I would buy OEM filters and lubricants from the dealer and maintain the sales receipts as proof of purchase should a warranty claim arise.

If the tractor is out or warranty, I would probably still buy OEM filters and lubricants from the dealer since peace of mind is worth something. That said, if the tractor is out of warranty I might check with NAPA or some other reputable vendor to see if a match at a lower cost is available.

Too much risk with no-name filters or lubricants to put an expensive piece of equipment in jeopardy.

Grease is cheap, parts ain't.

That's not true...and if it is it should be stated in the warranty.

OP those all look like chinese no name filters. I wouldnt use them. Quality brand arnt much more. Baldwin, luber finder, champion, napa/wix, fram and Donaldson are all quality filters and have s good chance of being US made.

I did not state it was necessary, I stated I would buy OEM filters and lubricants and maintain sales receipts as proof of purchase because I don't want to argue with a dealer/service manager.

My statement that I would buy OEM filters and lubricants is absolutely true. I made no claim about legalities.

You inferred something that is not there.

Quite likely the outer filter will be dirty and the inner filter spotless.
It's good to have one of each extra on hand, but don't toss the inner filter "just because".

I wouldn't risk expensive equipment on cheap no-name filters. These kits are generally cobbled together by God knows who, with little to no regard concerning OEM specifications.

Some of those filter "kit" sites are known to have counterfeit Bobcat branded filters. They are marked as Bobcat but they are cheap knock-offs. Save a few bucks on filters in exchange of $10k of a fuel system rebuild? No way.
