It's the style of septic systems we have, that use a dual sand filter/filter bed.

There are 3 access covers. Two at the tank, then a third a bit further down stream. Under that cover, there are 3 pipes. One coming from the tank. The two outlets to the dual filter beds. That's where the swap is supposed to be made every 6 months or so

The time change isn't bad it's the loss of daylight that I hate. More accurately I hate it getting dark an hour earlier in the evening.

Glad you clarified that. Since we don't actually lose anything due to the offset of time.

It don't much effect me on the days I work....which are 12 hr night shifts. I just swap the dark drive in the morning and daylight drive in the evening.

But on my days off, I agree, I'd rather have the longer evenings as opposed to longer mornings.

I reckon all of you N.A. grumblebums are just ticked 'cause this is a sure sign that Winter is almost here... there's no going back to the halcyon days of Summer.

Why not just change it 30 minutes and leave it alone? It will only affect everyone a little bit once and likely go unnoticed. Is a half hour of light or dark really going to make that big of a difference?

I could be wrong, but I was thinking there was somewhere in the states, near the EST-CST boarder that didn't change time.

Half the year they would follow central time, the other half they would be on eastern time.

Florida panhandle somewhere? Or it might have been Indiana somewhere????

Where I live, I think the majority would just prefer to stay on DST all year. In the summer, daylight is something like darn near 6am to almost 9pm.

In the winter, with the change back, daylight is something like 730ish to 530ish.

If we just stayed on DST, so what it wouldn't get light out til 830am......I'd take that to have it STAY light out til like 630p, instead of 530p. Dark at 530 is just too soon IMO

I can't remember if it's IN or OH that dosen't follow the nonsense, i was in one of the states years ago & asked the mgr. of a restaurant on the day, he said they didn't do the stupid thing.
With all the things lawmakers change & do today, i'd think they could change this.

Pt me down for the HATE IT, then again, we will close 30 minutes earlier where i work on account of it, i might LIKE IT on that aspect:confused3:
