I need to do the pre-emergence thing for stickers, (goatheads). While I could and maybe should get a spreader for the tractor, I'd kinda like to pull it behind my riding lawnmower. Is there one you guys have used and suggest? Or am I way off base here..

How big of an area do you need to cover?

About 2 acres. I'd like to have it for later seeding grass and fertilizing..

Is this what you had in mind. It's supposedly good for about an acre and would hook up to your riding mower.
