i'm assuming you don't have a roll bar on your atv, so i would opt for smaller tank and possibly have to fill it up twice on occasion. 60 gallons, mounted up high on the rear rack is going to seriously mess with your center of gravity - especially when sloshing around.

if I am reading woodlandfarms's post correctly he is talking about mounting a sprayer on/in the bucket of his power trac 1850 (Specs), which is a 8 wheel, articulated, 3800# slope mower, rated for continuous operation on 45 degree slopes. if he puts a 60 gal tank on the loader it will weigh less than 540# (loader capacity is 1200#), so, he should be ok as long as he keeps the COG lowish.

How much land are you going to be spraying? Do you know how much gallons per acre you want to spray (see label rate). A 60 gal. tank is nice but not if you only need to spray 25 gals. at a time. If refilling is far away from water and mixing area, that's one thing... Having an extra 35 gallons of chemical left in the tank at the end of a spray day is another...
