I am looking for a spool valve for my tractor that i am building. It will have a fel on it along with a three point on the rear. This is the valve i am looking at but i am a little concerned with the float feature on it. Do the valve only float with the lever in a certain position or does it always float? I don't want my bucket to have the float feature on all of the time but it sure would come in handy with the blade on it in the winter for pushing snow. i am using a 9gpm pump also on it.

It only "floats" when the handle is pushed into a "detented" position.
