Spinning the carousel

Somebody has a lot of free time on their hands.

Seeing as I have/had no bloody idea what this 'carousel' (other than the amusement ride with the painted horses) thing is/was... MossRoads's diagram was much appreciated.

Mind you, I still have no idea why these are employed in the first place. I've never seem one used here in Australia.

Promised myself I wouldnt rant anymore! Ha

Walmart employees are the product of American culture, specifically govt. education and, imho, one parent households.

Who makes that happen?

Many European grocery stores have no baggers or carousels. DIY, bring your own nag.

Here’s one, go to lowes home improvement.

You have 1 box of screws. They have 4 self checkout stations, all closed.

I finally asked the mgr, who I know, wtf? He said they have to put a dedicated employee there just to keep people from stealing. Here we go.

I’ve had construction folks here all week. (Probably call me a raciest but, Mexican people are the hardest working most pleasant people I’ve ever met, and I’ve met most, no Eskimo’s, so far)

I heard the boys complaining about the bar code readers at Walmart, how they fail to read occasionally. Most all the boys agree, “if it don’t read by the second time,I take it, screw them”.

I said, that’s stealing and, that’s not going to...

Often thought a good subject for a throne room book would be messages sent that had been changed by auto correct whatever but not caught. Gotta be some good ones

Most public school systems are run by the locals. While it is a form of government, with standards and practices set by the state, it's run by the locals. So if your local school systems are failing, it's your fault.

So the point is, without launching into yet another political discussion that'll get yet another great thread shut down.... what does politics have to do with the direction of spinning a checkout carousel at a grocery store? NOTHING.

The entire point of this discussion makes me think that people have too much time on their hands.

Who is shutting the "GREAT" threads down? Seems kind of childish, like a tantrum. Why not remove offending post and bar said offender for a couple of weeks, first offense? Increase the penalty after that. I have seen that on other forums and it's quite effective. Wouldn't that make more sense and be more agreeable to most?
