Spin on Oil filters

Here's a little trick I use when I change oil and filters on my Peterbilt since this filter holds a gallon alone and works with most spin-ons. Before you undo the filter, punch a hole in the bottom and the oil will drain out in a stream and can be caught more easily in a can or pan,when done draining, undo the filter and you won't have all that oil running down the sides and your hand. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
