Spendy toro groundmaster 72

Sounds like most threads i have read here are pretty cheap (inexpensive) to fix lawn tractors. Have a toro groundmaster, just tore out the splines on center spindle of the mower deck, 72". $80 for the pully, $120 for the shaft, and as long as in there, $35 for the bearings. That is just the parts. Since i really do not like messing with retaining clips, $100 for the pro to put it all together again.

How are them apples!!

I have a Toro Ground Master with a 62" deck and am looking for the shaft assembly for the deck where did you get the parts for the spline as i have been quoted $482 for the shaft itself??? Then the gear bax has 5/8 of an inch play equating to another $432 if it gets replaced or fixed.
