As title states I have a spark problem, I have a service manual and going by it I checked voltage going to coil. I have none with the key on (manual says should have 30), and starting I have 30 (manual says should have 130). I dropped back to the trigger coil, the ohms on it are within specs 84-126 and I have 119. Starting trigger coil voltage, I have none. Manual says 3.??- 4.??. Took it apart, everything visually looks fine. I know that means little if anything. But is it possible for a trigger coil to ohm good and be actually bad?

I would say the trigger coil is good, but there was some cases about your year of manufacture where one of the magnets on the flywheel would come loose and you would loose fire. Don't overlook things that could be related but not necessarily ignition related like voltage regulators.

Hey thanks for the reply. the magnets are good, still glued in place. But I did discover I made a mistake in my testing, didnt switch to AC voltage on my meter, duh! I'll put it back together and check again.
