Call your local dealer; I'll bet he's willing to ship the cord to you. Every dealership worth its salt ships parts out every day.

I can't seem to find the part number on line. Do you have a link?

I need to do a major hydraulic service soon, so I'll have him order it for pickup when I make the trip for fluid.

The heater kit and cord part number is listed under "Engine" rather than the electrical section. The cord part number is: 86539137 and available at Messicks for $28.80.

EDIT: HA! I just went back and checked and the whole heater, cord, and cable tie kit is only $24 and change. It's cheaper to buy the whole kit than the 5' cord by itself.

Great catch! I actually looked at the Messicks site and even looked under Engine. This time I saw the "Kit" off to the side.

Barry, I saved the cord off my old heater when I got a new one. You can have it if you want, just postage. It's only about 10" long, though, may not work in your application judging by the photo... Not sure it's exactly the same. My heater kit# was 86590117.

Thanks for the offer. The cord was 5' and I think I would need at least a couple of feet just to get the plug out from under the hood. I'll pay the $25 for the kit and hope I will be more careful when I store the cord after I use it.
