some newbie questions for b3200

Ductape,

Thanks for the reply,

Your B3030 operator manual is quite different than my B2320. The B2320 manual states: ''If one of the rear wheels should slip, step on the differential lock pedal. Both wheels will then turn together, reducing slippage.''.

I assume both tractors have similar diff lock systems. Maybe it's an overlook from Kubota or there is an actual design difference. To be safe I will be using the most conservative method from now on, I will wait until both wheels have stopped before engaging the Diff Lock pedal.

Thanks again for checking your manual

thanks for the replies. i wonder if there is an issue with my rear end, because like i said, both rear wheels spin together in 2 wheel drive without the diff.lock pedal being pressed.
one other issue i forgot to mention in my post. when testing the starting interlocks, i noticed that the one that prevents the tractor from starting without the clutch being depressed does not work. i notified my dealer who tested a couple other tractors and found this same issue. he also notified a local rep. have not heard the outcome. any other b3200 owners have this issue?

Dcosto,

My B2320 HST also starts without the clutch being pressed. I kind of like it that way.

yeah, I always start my standing on the ground to let it warm up - then I go do something before I get on it. Of course you are not supposed to, you could be arrested by the tractor police. :) Maybe just the gear models need the clutch pushed in - to prevent it lurching forward if it's not in neutral?
