Mine was with an old Scout, can't even recall just which one it was now, either an 80 or 800 folded it right up over the roof.

It was my understanding that all Scouts had "reverse" opening hoods... I googled and the 800 hoods "look" the same but open like normal!?!? I would have lost that bet!!!

I've had the hood pop a couple times on the subaru, but the 2nd latch caught it.

Happened on my Dad's 1964 Valiant station wagon when I was driving home at night. No traffic up here so I opened the window to see and stopped to fix it.
