Solar Tractor Battery Maintainer?

Everybody's situation is different. I have a 36 x 60 shop with a 200 amp service where all the welding and heavy power draw is. The barn is just a barn - hay and equipment storage mostly. It's a good place to keep stuff dry, and that's about it.

Ya, i think in your case a small solar with battery and light, small inverter for battery charger is a good choice. Never hurts to have light.

I can tell you what doesn't work. HF's license plate size 'solar charger'. Maybe if it were put on the roof with no shade from trees, it could maintain the battery in a tractor that doesn't move over the winter. Setting it outside a door near the tractor where it sees direct sunlight a few hours a day, was a waste of time.

After a couple of years of needing to charge the battery in the spring, I bought a Battery Minder. That works well.
