Solar powered security system on cellular network

You might try a sign claiming 24 hour video surveillance. That might be enough to get them to move on to another location.

That Reolink option might be worth a try if you can place it and a solar panel where it won't get noticed or stolen. You will be hard pressed to get an identification from such a distance though. My field cameras are Reolink 5MP cameras and they are pretty clear but by the time I could identify someone on them they would have them and be gone. I can say the notifications through the Reolink app and my network are far more consistent than what you experienced with your Spypoint test.

I have a ReoLink Pan-Tilt-Zoom outdoor camera with a razor-sharp 5MB picture that runs on wifi for security around my house. They recently came up with a solar-powered cellular camera for around ~$200. I am *extremely* impressed with the quality of their products. I don't need a cellular camera though.

I did some looking into the ReoLink camera and 2 things stood out to me.

1. They will not ship until July....and from China....
2. They can not be viewed from a computer. Only from a cell phone.

They are priced very low, which is a good thing. $159 for the camera and $30 for the solar panel. I just wonder about their quality. But, for that price, you can throw it away if it only lasts a year.
