At total eclipse. Yard light came on, chickens next door going nuts. Horses headed into the barn.

I agree, It was a little weird feeling. Our chickens started toward their coop until I came out the back door.

Eclipse over. Now we have a chance of baseball size hail and flooding rains tonight.

Neighbors just came and borrowed a couple of my hand held welding masks, and I made sure to tell them not to look prolong periods, just intermittent glances. #10 lens, really needs to be a 14, but the only 14 I have is in my TIG shield that I use, so it's not going out to play. Not sure what the electronic lens are rated at, really doesn't matter because there is no arc flash to activate them, plus they shut off without warning! Made his grand daughter happy to be able to see it!
I snapped a picture thru the lens and it showed the whole sun, despite it being 2/3 covered!
