Tried the 106 road switched back to 7018 might try a unopened package.

Try a pass with 6011 because it will work better on that rusty surface, or take a grinder and just touch the surface enough to get past the rust, and you will end up with a lot better weld.

7018 is welding through the surface rust and penetrating just fine. Im getting better at welding with arc blow.

The bobcat crashed offcourse the day after i picked up work from a commercial contractor. It chucked 1 piston off the crank.
I have thought about buying a new bobcat or trailblazer. With today off i decided to bring duane and other guru's in and see if we couldnt get the bug 40 going.

Those guys over at welding web really stepped up and they pretty walked me through rectifier replacement now big 40 is up and welding and welding amazing. So so much smoother welding than the bobcat.
I will hold off on jumping in on trailblazer im pennies invested in this machine.

The f163 sounds amazing straight piped dragging beads. It should be able to weld that horse fence better than bobcat due to running smooth .

Ive got alittle cleaning to do on it. Plugs maybe coolant hoses and belt then maybe paint torch bottle mount.

Only downfall is its 1000lbs heavier and is bed raik to bed rail behind the cab of my truck
