That is the best part of a project like this for me. I love hearing an engine fire off after a rebuild.

It was indeed a relief seeing the engine running. Sounds great, no weird noises, about 60 psi of oil pressure (cold 15W40).
Can't wait to bolt it back to the front gearbox so I can run it a little longer without the thing trying to jump all over the place.
It sure brought the motivation levels higher.

I know from experience an old Kohler 12 HP āKā series single shook the crap off my work bench but like PT was super happy it started and ran.

Interestingly enough, the ground has been shaking quite a bit lately.
