snowblower on a yanmar?

I am seriously considering buying a yanmar 18-25 hp does anyone know if you can use a snowblower on them? They dont seem to have live pto but with a three range trans i would think low reverse would be slow enough. Any thoughts or experiences would be apreciated

Low reverse will be very slow. Maybe even too slow. A tractor with powershift can be used the same as a live PTO by shifting to neutral when stopping.Your PTO will remain turning. You can shift into gear and the PTO will not stop.

They work great. Just remember that 2 stage blowers will clog up as soon as you push the clutch in. If you have a live pto then you can stop the tractor and the blower will keep running so it has a chance to clear itself out. If you buy a tractor without live PTO then look at the single stage blowers.
