Are there any new and improved products you can put on your metal blades to keep the snow from sticking? I've tried the sprays, I even took a weed burning torch and melted wax on the blade, but everything I've tried only lasts a few minutes. Was wondering what anyone uses to keep sierra cement from sticking to their blades? On my front plow, I put sheets of 1/4" HDPE screwed to the blade and they seem to work pretty good, but my rear blade I can't use those as they will instantly get torn off.

I use a product called ProtectAll, which is a spray on wax marketed mostly to RV folks. Spray it on, smear it around, wipe with dry cloth if desired... Otherwise it dries clear.
I never really tested to see how long the coating helped, but it does shed snow well for one plow run doing 15 or so long rural driveways. It's so quick to apply that I just use it prior to each snow event.
It also works great on the cab glass and mirrors. (once per season).

Could you post a link to the specific product you’ve been using ?
Tried searching Amazon but there seems to be all kinds of different products using the ProtectAll name.

This is the stuff... Walmarts carry it in the RV section also.
I also use it on plastics, rubber, glass, and paint.

The best thing that you can do is order a small sheet of black HDPE black slick sheeting
and grain elevator bolts from McMaster Carr and bolt the sheeting to your blade above
the cutting edge and you will no longer have to deal with sticking Serra cement.

Use a piece of flat stock and vise grips to hold it in place while you drill the bolt holes
through the sheet and blade and use red loctite to secure the nuts only hand tight and
you will never have to worry about snow again.

I use the DuPont snow and ice repellent spray. Seems to work ok. I hit the plow blade with it the day before the snow and nothing stuck. But it wasn’t a sticky snow.

Contact the closest Erskine equipment dealer near you, they still manufacture the rear PTO to front snow blower
that allows you to use their 540-RPM snow blower with a front frame mounting kit that uses an adjustable frame that
fits your mule and attaches to the rear hitch to carry the PTO shaft and the chain drive to power the snow blower.
Your rear remotes and 4 hoses operate the chute and spout controls for you.

Bay dog, you have a number of options:

#1 if front end loader equipped, mount your blower to a quick attach plate and power it by : a a gas auxiliary engine mounted to the blower or
B a pto driven hydraulic pump and supply tank driving a hydraulic motor on the blower.
#2 buy or build a front 3 pt framework to lift the blower then decide how to power it from the above options

#3 as mentioned above, Erskine makes the complete unit with the underneath framework and drive shafts driven by the rear pto.
