I need the belt number and/or size of the drive belt for my Case H-80 snowthrower on my Case 222 tractor. The belt was old and disintegrated, taking with it the number and leaving no hope of measuring.

Thanks

try using a small piece of rope about the same diameter of the belt around all pulleys and mark or cut where they start to overlap. make sure tension pulleys are backed off to allow for tension on new belt when measuring with rope. take that piece of rope to local parts store and size it up to a belt that matches the rope lenth. that should get you going agian.

I just replaced the belt on my 448. It used a 4L800 belt. That would be a good place to start.

Thank you to all who took time to read my post and to those who replied. I had forgotten about the rope trick. Thanks again for the info.
