Snow Snow thrower attachment installation

I have purchased a used CC 451 snow thrower attachment for my CC 1641 tractor. The snow thrower came with mounting brackets. I have removed the mid-mounted mower deck. The manual is not clear as to whether the mower deck mounting bracket must be completely removed before the snow thrower can be mounted. Does anyone out there have any experience with this? I was hoping not to have to completely remove everything.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

after you remove the mower deck the assembly that holds the deck up must also be removed

The mule drive (don't know why they called it that) must be removed.
I can get mine off and on, including the deck in 10 minutes or so.

There should be two hangars near the rear supporting it. Pull those clips and it slides right out the front, unles the 1641 bolts up in the front.
