I as thinking of of adding about 8" sheet metal on each side but maybe this is an option

I had something like those on my plow truck, ford f-150, back in Erie PA. Serious snow country. We owned a large commercial building there at the time and had numerous parking lots & drives to clear on a near daily basis during the winter. I loved them, I could scrape snow right up to a curb or building without causing damage to the concrete or my plow. I'm looking for a set for my Kubota BX2763A blade, know where I might find them? I have a lot of large rocks along the one side of our driveway and those would save me a lot of agita.

Mcmaster has heavy conveyor belting, wonder if the .36" thick stuff would work?

The ones I had on my plow truck were a full inch thick. TSC sells 3/4" thick horse stall mats, that's what I might use if I can't find anything else. Needs to be stiff enough to scrape hard snow.

The conveyor belting has reinforcing in, the .36 thick ones have 2 layers which makes them really stiff. Floor mats are usually pretty floppy so you are right they would need to be thicker

I have some old conveyor belt I use to protect the cement in my garage from my tire chains. It's 2' wide and was replaced because gravel wore the center down past the cords. The ends are a good 3/8" thich. Maybe because what I have is used it's not that stiff. I wouldn't think it would be strong enough for a plow wing. I think I would just find an old tire and cut the tread off and try that. Lots of free tires around.
