Snow plow and mount for Kubota B7510

Although the MMM mounts might be strong enough, I would avoid relying on them. If they won't handle the stress you have then destroyed your ability to mount the MMM. I guess that also would be determined by your intent with the plow. I want to build something strong enough to push dirt/brush, etc. so will not use those mounts.

hey ASGAR, Could you post up some dimensions? Or better yet an itemized materials list? I'm gonna see if I can get my steel tomorrow, I sent you an email but I didn't want to rush you. I think that I can eyeball most of the pieces though.

I'm thinking:
2 --1.75"x6" ---8" tall C channels for the front subframe mounts
2 -- 2"X4"x.25" ---4' long tube for the main rails
1 -- 2"x4"x.25" ---22" long cross piece for rear of subframe
2 -- 1.75"x6" ---8" long C channel "wings" for plow mounts
1 -- 2"(i.d.)x.25" ---6" long Square tube for receiver
1 -- 2"x.375" ---6" long flat stock for receiver back cap/brace
2-- 2"x.25" ---8" long Caps/mounting tabs for rear mounts
2 -- 2"x.5" ---6" long Flat stock for outside snow plow mounts
2 -- 2"x.5" ---2" long Flat stock for inside snow plow mounts
1 -- 2"x4"x.25" ---4" long Brace between front of frame rails
1 --8"x10"x.125" --- Plate to tie front of mount together
2 -- 2"x.25"? ---10" Flat stock for bracing for plow mounts




Anybody see anything in that list that looks off? I tried to describe it as best I could. That pretty much sums up the steel except the hardware needed to mount the sub-frame. I didn't get to the hydraulic mount yet either.

Earlier it was noticed that I had this frame in my house to take the pics... understanding wife and all... well tonight is her b'day but, for you, I headed out to the barn at 11pm......
Good estimates from the pics...

The actual measurements are:

2 --1.75"x4" ---7-1/4" tall C channels for the front subframe mounts
2 -- 2"X4"x1/8" ---34" long tube for the main rails
1 -- 2"x4"x1/8" ---13-1/2" long cross piece for rear of subframe
2 -- 1.75"x4" ---6" long C channel "wings" for plow mounts
1 -- 2"(i.d.)x.25" ---5-1/4" long Square tube for receiver
1 -- 2"x.375" ---5-1/2" long flat stock for receiver back cap/brace
2-- 2"x.1/2" ---9" long Caps/mounting tabs for rear mounts
2 -- 2"x.5" ---6" long Flat stock for outside snow plow mounts
2 -- 2"x.5" ---2" long Flat stock for inside snow plow mounts
1 -- 2"x4"x1/8" ---3-1/2" long Brace between front of frame rails

For the lift:
Tube hieght is 25", lift arm 18"
cylinder is a 2" dia x 8" stroke

Look at the pics.. now that I have used it a few times I found I do rub the front tires with the wheel cranked over so I am going to cut off the ends, see pic with black tape, the edge of the tape will be the cut line, you can see the rubs in the pic. Then I am going to weld on hangers from the front of the frame, see cardboard mock up. I also took a pic from the side to show that what I was trying to do was to get the plow frame pivot pins as close to the front of the tractor as possible. The 1/8" tubing is already overkill.

Well I got it done. Only took me about 12 hours Asgar you should have told me this was an easy one lol I got a free snowplow while I was at it. I think its a little bit big from the pics but it cleaned the driveway in two passes!

Only problem I had was getting the front posts even. That should be taken care of tomorrow. I'm gonna look into getting a cleaner/easier to fix plow though.

Here is my BX1850 front hitch hookup. It uses the 3PH to raise and lower blade and is a manual angle.

Can you show a pic of the rear, how the 3pt moves that rod. I'm getting an idea from seeing your set-up.
