Ever since we have become concerned about global warming there have been more incidences of snow than I can remember from years past. And I have a lot of years past. I am watching the radar and am seeing snow just over the county line north of me. Just a couple of miles away, hope we get some of it.

You can have it! I just finished blading the remaining slush off my driveway, finally got it down to mostly gravel showing. :)

I heard one TV newsman this morning say we normally see two winter storms per year, while this is the seventh one for this year. It does appear that this one is going to go by just a few miles south of us this time though.

According to last nights weather forecast the center of this is about at the level of Waco. We are getting mostly rain but did have some small sleet earlier. My place is all sand so I am going to have to be careful where I take the tractor because there are a number of places where it is waterlogged.

Our front ditch has had a thin trickle of water for 2-3 weeks from seepage down the slope.

We finally got our first dusting. This was our driveway this afternoon.

Yea I live just south of Dallas and I already have an inch or so on the ground before I went to work where as in Dallas there is nothing and it's warmer.

That's very pretty, Don, but I'm glad to say it missed us this time; been about 36 degrees, overcast, but dry all day.

and we didn't get anything near that just 15 miles away -- mainly just spittin' but not stickin'........we got some big flakes for awhile -- but they were gone as soon as they hit. there was a small sign here and there for a few minutes ...but nothing like your pic
