I made up some snow bucket wings today to make my bucket more effective when pushing snow. Borrowed some ideas I saw on this forum.
In this pic, they are in the upright, travel position. They "float" up and down to follow the contours of the ground. 1/4" steel plate (needs paint) and a skid shoe welded to the front and bottom.

The wings are chained to the centre of the bucket so they float and to prevent them from being bent outwards by the weight of the snow. They can't go level in the pic because the trailer rail is in the way.
