Hi,

Would a woods 74 inch snow blower be to big for my NH T1520? The web site list it at 30-50 hp, the spec on the nh is 28 at the pto.

Does anyone know the going rate for a woods 60 or 74.

I have heard bizzard are good, dealer gave me a qoute of 2600, 3 months ago when I bought the tractor.

Thanks.

I use a 66" on my ct235. It almost never bogs down at all, unless I'm pushing a big pile of snow in to the face faster than it can be thrown out. The simple answer is yes it will handle it, and if it bogs down back off on the go pedal until it clears. I originally wanted a 72", but they were on back order.

You should also purchase one of Clarences impeller kits to increase the snow casters efficiency as it will keep the impeller drum clean of melted snow and also add to the casting distance of the snow caster you buy.

The kits are $30 United States dollars with with a money back guarantee.

I have a 64" Frontier that I run with 20pto/hp. It only bogs down if I run it into a stiff 6' banking. It's a great blower.

I feel that now is the right to be shopping for a blower. If you can get a 74" blower for $2600 and it looks to be a quality unit, I'd buy it.
