I am interested to hear if anyone has a snow blower that fits on their 460 loader. I have a JD 4500 with the 460 loader, and am looking for a front mount blower for it. JD doesn't make one for this size (4500-4700) tractor.

Alternatively, if you have a 4500-4700 and have any other sort of front blower, I am interested in hearing about it.

Thanks
Kevin

Are you looking for a blower that mounts on the loader arms?
Your post is confusing....
Front mount blowers usually mount on a subframe under the tractor not on the loader arms.
Powering a shaft driven blower(like most are) would not work well on the loader., so that leaves hydaulic power which would take alot of flow to operate.

Hpoe this helps...

Thanks for the info. I appreciate it.

I guess I was hoping that someone made a blower that mounted on the loader quick attach mechanism. Ok, I know it is a long shot, but what the heck!

I ended up going with a Curtis blade instead, which does attach to the front of the loader (replaces the bucket).

Kevin,
It looks kinda cool. The JD Dealer
was trying to talk me into one the other day.

You might want to consider this blade

http://www.borgford.com/

It is heavy enough to really push dirt but costs only a little more than the Curtis snow blade.
