I've got a woods ss74 snowblower. Works great, but the last two storms we've had was like fine powder. When blowing this stuff, mostly when it's dark you can't see nothing out back there with the tractor light on. So I put a light right on the blower it's self, between where the snow gets feed in and the shoot. That solve the problem. Works great. Oh and turn the back work lights on the tractor off.

Did the first storm keep you busy? That was the most snow I've seen since we moved here.We got at least 2 feet and it was all blown in every where.Second one seems like only a foot. Not much of it now, keeps raining.

Here's comand-central. The top toggle switch for is the shoot , move left or right for turning shoot. The bottom is a lite toggle switch for when the blower light is on.

Whats that roll of elect tape on the lever for? Neat looking set-up, and all for just $5. Its amazing what we can come up with when we don't want to spend our money.

I noticed rear lights on your tractor. Where are they attached? Do you have a picture.

I just got a Puma 74" 3pt blower for my L3830HST and I am trying to figure out where I should put rear facing lights.

I didn't want to drill any holes in my fenders for lights, so there are some factory holes in them already. So I bent some 1/2 OD stainless pipe into a offset so it would clear the roll bar. Tig welded a 3/8 stainless bolt (about 1 3/4'' long) to one end, oh first you drill a hole thru the bolt so you can snake the wires thru it. Put a flat stainless washer and a rubber washer on the bolt and run the welded bolt thru the pre-drilled holes in the fender. You can tig weld a nut on the other end to accept the light you will put on. Then run your wires to it. If I have a change I'll go out and take some close-up pictures of them and show you them.
