Snow Snow Blade for FEL?

I've decided I really do not want to clear 1/2 mile of rough dirt road of up to 20% grade with a back blade on my B7100HST. Does anyone make a snow blade that attaches to the FEL frame in place of the bucket? Seems like a huge waste of hydraulics if something like this doesn't exist. I know that there are snow blowers that can mount on the front, but the road is gravel and I don't need to be throwing rocks around. I currently use a Jeep, but I'd just like to downsize out of it, since plowing is the only thing I use it for.

I have a Curtis snow blade installed on my FEL./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif Checkout the thread Let it snow. There are a few responses and pictures to this subject. Also try a search of snow blade looking at all forums for the last year. There was a lot discussion during the winter on this subject.

Scott, I have a 6' Curtis blade on my B 2710 and it works very well. And since widening it to 8' it works a lot faster. It is a well made product line and about as tough as an anvil. If you have access to a welder a used truck plow could be adapted for a lot less money.

Well, now that you mention it, I have a friend who welds, and I have a 7 1/2 foot Meyers plow on my Wagoneer. I'd love to get rid of the Jeep, since it is about to expire anyway.

Would a B7100 push an 7 1/2' blade through deep snow? I really have my doubts, but maybe I'm wrong. Anyone have an opinion? With the jeep I've had to push over 3 feet of snow. It isn't easy, but the old Wagoneer can do it.

I have a 6 1/2 ft snow blade that I attach to my FEL bucket with chain tighteners. Takes 5 minutes to put it on, and haven't seen a storm in northern Maine yet that slows it down.
