Just picked up an 8 hp Snapper Series 21 RER the machine is a 2001 or 2002 model I think, and looks like it hasn't had a lot of use it looks nearly new and runs great even up and down hill lots of power. But the clutch is another matter, there is no slack, let is out and your off. Is this the nature of the mower or can the clutch be adjusted for a softer start.
