After the 3rd event at 3 in the morning, I installed a double handled shower valve in the cellar, 18" back from the foundation, extended the calve rods thru the wall, and hooked up the plumbing. Naturally, the wife decided I was completely nuts (nothing new). A month or so later, I got to try my installation, and I assure you nice warm water for deskunking a canine definitely makes the chore less of a pain in the #$$. Massengil douche works very well too, learned it from a professional groomer.
3 years later, the wife has decided it's convenient to have hot & cold running water outside for her various chores. She still thinks I'm nuth though.
