Ok, finaly have some preliminary data on mpg on that 99 7.3 PSD F350 DRW I have. 4.1 rears, etc.
13.5 MPG city is what it's turning so far.
havn't been able to do a highway test long enough to do a miles/gallons used calc.
keep trying to take it on the trips to the coast witht he wife, but she likes to take her yukon... sooo..
I guess 13.5 ain't bad... surely ain't any worse then the dodge 1500 gasser with 5.9l and 3.73 rears it replaced. In fact.. it's as good or .5mpg better unloaded anyway. I imagine loaded it's WAY better as that dodge dropped from about 13 unloaded to .. well.. something way lower when loaded to only 6k or so.. have to think the 350 will not be hit as hard mileage wise.. but again.. havn't tested that either.. though do know it feels/handles great with a pallate of sod and 800# of bagged sand in the long bed..
