Yep, that should work OK.
I also use it to renew yellowed headlight lenses. There it does great. (you wonder where the yellow went)
LOL, in a pinch toothpaste and elbow grease will also do the trick as it is an ultra mild abrasive.
I use 'Barkeeper's Friend' but I am looking for something a little more effective.

.

I know what DOESN'T work is the specialty kits they market to rejuvenate headlight lenses.

I put Dymo date labels on my flashlights and multi-meters when I change the batteries.
Leaving old batteries in a MagLight until they go bad and swell up is a pain.
Same in other devices when they start to leak. Good or bad, they get changed at least every year.

One of these make a lot of Shop Tasks much easier. Great for brake work and it's height adjustable. The bottom tray is handy and is removable.

Take a worn out reciprocating saw blade and grind/file the teeth off so it is sharp like a knife.
Chuck it up in your saw and use it for cutting down large boxes and Styrofoam packing.
It doesn't leave a mess on the floor like a blade with teeth does.

This is interesting! Any before/after pictures? Are you saying to grind the teeth to a V?

Put 2" of concrete in bottom of mine. If bucket tips over all of the separated junk immediately gets sucked into vac.

That's a good idea. I just have 1 screw holding mine to the wall because I didn't want it falling over either. I've been using mine for 5 or 6 years and my vacuum filter is still spotless.
