Small utility trailer towed by tractor?

This is about as newbie as a question gets, but I figure better safe than sorry...

I'm thinking of getting a small 5x10 utility trailer (the Lowes/TSC style...) for hauling implements and other random things with my SUV. Is there any reason why I can't also pull it behind my tractor when the need arises?

When I lived in the country, I had a 5' x 10' tilt bed trailer, and my brother's 6' x 16' tandem axle trailer stayed at my place. I used both of them at different times behind my Kubota B7100 and B2710. Just remember, if you load a trailer pretty heavy that tractors will pull more than they can stop. Don't get to going too fast, especially downhill, and you'll be fine.

Just how much can a tractor pull? Mine's 55 HP, but with it in low gear, I bet it's a lot more than my truck can. ???

Just a word of caution here. If your going to tow it, put the ball on your hitch (mounted firmly to tractor). If you have it on a drawbar from lift arms for 3ph, without some stabilizing bar, the trailer can sway side to side (be sure to adjust sway/stabilizers for this). It can also rear up if load is not centered properly (weight forward on hitch), and if you have to stop suddenly, it could rear up and push/jacknife/turn over. FYI.

I have a 6" bandit chipper on a trailer that weighs about 2000lbs

Do you think a Kubota BX24 could move it around 2 acres.

I could get to some spots with the tractor that I couldn't with the crew cab truck.
