Is proofreading before you post really all that hard?
Sometimes. I can proofread multiple times and still miss a glaring error.
Just needs to be said:
I used to think I was pretty much just a regular person, but I was born white, into a two-parent household which now, whether I like it or not, makes me "Privileged", a racist, & responsible for slavery.
I am a fiscal & moral conservative, which by today's standards, makes me a fascist because I plan, budget & support myself.
I went to High School, got a degree, got in some college & have always held a job. But I now find out that I am not here because I earned it, but because I was "advantaged".
I am heterosexual, which according to "gay" folks, now makes me a homophobe.
I am not a Muslim, which now labels me as an infidel.
I am older than 60, making me a useless eater who doesn't understand Facebook, Instagram or Snapchat.
I think & I reason, and I doubt much of what the "main stream" media tells me, which makes me a "Right-wing conspiracy nut".
I am proud of my heritage & our inclusive culture, making me a xenophobe.
I believe in hard work, fair play, & fair compensation according to each individual's merits, which today makes me an anti-socialist.
I believe our system guarantees freedom of effort - not freedom of outcome or subsidies which must make me a borderline sociopath.
Please help me come to terms with the new me because I'm just not sure who I am anymore!
Funny, this all took place over the last 10 to 12 years! If all this nonsense wasn't enough to deal with, now I don't even know which restroom to use... and I gotta go more FREQUENTLY!
Well written and fun reading but pretty sad if you truly feel that way.
It's about time [Deleted] took the initiative, become the master and put this all into perspective. If the [Deleted] have their way,
And to think it did not just happen yesterday. Read some of this gents quotes and you would think he wrote them yesterday:I'm reminded of the exchange between Humpty Dumpty and Alice:
"When I use a word," Humpty Dumpty said, in rather a scornful tone, "it means just what I choose it to mean溶either more nor less." "The question is," said Alice, "whether you can make words mean so many different things." "The question is," said Humpty Dumpty, "which is to be master葉hat's all."
It's about time Conservatives took the initiative, become the master and put this all into perspective. If the liberals have their way, our language will be so perverted that a meaningful conversation will become impossible...I for one, am not going to let them mess up my thinking; I use what words I think are appropriate when I think it's appropriate...although I am very circumspect with my audience. Not only that, I don't let their definition of "racist" "xenophobe" and others keep me from telling it like it is.
We're getting pushed back into a PC corner that is so confining that we have to change the names of our athletic teams and public buildings...and take bulk rope off the shelves? Sheezeee!
