Small Options Make The Difference on B Series

Here are the dealer add-ons I wish I would have got for my B at the time of purchase.

-Block heater (good to have in cold climates)

-Wheel spacers (to allow clearance for chains)

-Armrests (not standard on my B)

Glad I got the rear worklight; but it is mounted too low. If you get lights, specify where you want them.

The B's are nice machines. Good luck with your purchase, if you haven't pulled the trigger yet.

Work light- I have the one off my previous tractor, but will have to wire it up, since the B does not have the aux power outlet found on BXs. I love it for plowing snow, in the dark, which one does a lot!!!:laughing:

Wheel spacers- I have gone back and forth on those. I won't likely use chains and I have the row spacing of the gardens to consider. I'm passing on them for the time being.

Block heater- check. It's on my "must have" list.

Arm rests- had not given those a moments thought. Hmmmm.....

The B-series does come pre-wired for a rear work light. There will be a little 2-wire pigtail on the rops behind the seat that comes on when the lights are turned on. IIRC it just takes a couple barrel type plugs to connect it to a light.

I have B7510 and two things I really like, two speed PTO. I do most PTO work with high speed selected on PTO and run ~1500 rpm, much easier on fuel too. And # 2 the wheels can be adjusted in/out on the axle.
