Slow hydraulics?

I have a new to me 1993 Ford 3930 with a 7310 Ford loader. The loader is slow to move up and down.

Is this normal? Or should I look further into adjustment etc?

First check the position of your three point lever. If it is set for the full up position your hydraulics may be at their limit and dumping fluid against the over pressure regulation. Back the three point lever off just a bit and see if your loader operates faster. If it does you've found your problem. The permanent fix may then be a rock shaft adjustment.
