Rotary Cutter Slip clutch

I was reading about the slip clutches and was wondering if it's possible to put a clutch at the PTO and attach the shaft to it from there? this way I could use one clutch for my bush hog, finish mower, post hole digger, etc. instead of buying a clutch for each of them. Any one done this or opinions on it would be helpful. they are not cheap so if I could use one for all would be great.
