What manufacture makes a track skid steer with a gas engine? I need a new one. The DEF problems on the Kubota are causing too many problems with down time and money.
If you think dealing with Tier 4 issues are challenging you値l really like dealing with ethanol contaminated gasoline.
Can you please detail problems youæ±*e having? Kubota Model? Hours?
I think there’s more to this story that OP isn’t sharing? Seems a pretty severe response to a problem being covered by warranty?
I don't know who's thread you are talking about but I did not buy a JD 5115M nor did I say I did. I said my tractor has 480 hours on it with a several thousand $ problem. My $90,000 tractor will not be under warranty forever. If this problem disables my tractor at 480 hours and warranty replaces it with an equivalent unimproved part, I can't afford this! I have enough problems- weather, fertilizer cost, seed cost, cattle issues, labor costs, just to name a few. In closing, No way do I blame Kubota. I blame the politicians not the equipment manufactures. I had a Kubota engineer in Fort Worth, Texas want to follow me home to observe me using my Kubota tractor so he could look for ways to improve their products. That is how much Kubota cares about their customers.

Sorry, thought you posted that? Mea culpa.
You blame politicians for a problem part on your Tractor?? Which politicians do you blame? Do we need more government sticking their nose into private business.
Which politicians do you blame? EPA
Do we need more government sticking their nose into private business? DEF is the government sticking their nose into private business.
The Tier 4 DEF problem is NOT a small issue. It can leave you stranded on the open road, send my tractor to the shop for a month + or- with seed and fertilizer sitting in a barn when it has a small window to be put out, cost thousands of $ in repair bills. All this with a two hour or less time clock notice on your instrument panel that your tractor will shut down. I don't know how much money EPA thinks their is in farming or how much free time they think I have on my hands, or extra tractors I have to takeover when my new tractor has to spend a month at the dealer and still at the dealer. As far as Kubota trying to get out of the warranty coverage-- they said it is covered, but I have not received my tractor back yet. This story is not over.
The EPA had eight years of the C l i n t o n s and eight years of O b a m m y to set what ever rules and regulation they wanted.
Thank you buickanddeere for your post. My tractor may be in the shop but I feel better after my rant! Love tractorbynet for giving us a voice and love Kubota for building quality products. Hate the EPA because their only motive is political. Happy New Year to all!!!
