What is the biggest finish mower I can use with a Jinma 254?

Can I go 72", or is 60 the biggest I should try?

Mine handled a 5 foot rotary cutter (bushhog) in H1, straining only on the more severe uphill runs - forcing me to drop into L3 for that. My Yanmar had a 5 foot MMM (finish), and had plenty of power to spare.

Since there's considerably less mass with a finish mower - and assuming reasonable mowing conditions - your JM254 should have no difficulty whatsoever with a six RFM .

70"is the biggest finish mower that you can use with a Jinma 254

I have a 60" RFM on my 224. It handles it with no problems at all. I think a 72" on the 254 should work just fine.

I have a Jinma 284 and have a 6' finish mower and it works fine.

If this is for lawn duty, where you are not cutting "high" grass, the 6 footer should do fine. When you occasionally have "high" grass you will need to slow down. If you are using it more as a field mower, where high grass is the norm, the 5 footer is probably better. If thats the case though, you are probably better off (cheaper) with a 5' rotary cutter.
