Well I bit the bullet, trading in my L3400 for an MX5100, suppose to be delivered today. Hoping this is the last tractor I have to buy. I love the L3400 but it just didn't have enough umf for what I intended to do with it. So here I sit waiting for the dealer to deliver my MX5100.

P.S. I bought the MX before I figured out that my trailer wasn't big enough for the MX, so I had to go buy a bigger trailer also. It's like chrismas in April. And for those of you who are wondering, sleeping on the couch aint that bad, she'll get over. Won't she ????

Congratulations! The minutes must seem like hours, but it sounds like your time in tractor purgatory will be shorter than mine. I have a couple weeks left in my wait for my L5740. Having a beautiful spring has never been so tortuous!

I believe once the dust settle and you are no longer on the couch, you will find it was all worth it. The MX5100 is a really nice tractor, not only bigger, but much more refined and comfortable.

Get your camera ready for the required pictures.

I didn't think of the truck thing, oh my, that would be the icing on the cake. I think I will go out to the barn and install some AC abd Heat, I may be living there shortly. Dealer called it's on it's way.:laughing:

I just traded my 5100 on a m7040 cab... Just like you not really big enough for I want to do.

I got it, put some of my personal touches on it. Pats Quick Hitch. Hook up my large disk and did an acre food plot on my back pastue. It's great...
