Just purchased an old Sitrex 2GL Tedder. The shaft in the gearbox has two worn bearings. Here are my questions:
(1) I finally removed the shaft and bearings out of the gearbox however, the gear came off in the gearbox. Will I have to pull the entire shaft that goes from one tedder basket to the other tedder basket to re-install the shaft in the gear?
(2) If so, how do I pull the shaft? The wheels support the tedder baskets and, looks like each "wheel shaft" has two roll pins, one pin with-in the other.
How do I remove the pins?
Or any advice would be appreciated.
