Hi,
I was just wondering what was the most common type of farming with a Super A/Farmall 100-140 type tractor. I know that the Cole type planters were typically one row but I have seen two row versions on a tool bar. Which is the Super A/Farmall 100-140 best suited for and what customizations/equipment are required for either one.

I've seen your question on several boards, but since I don't know much about your model tractor or a Cole planter, I probably don't have much to offer you.

Hp wise, 2 rows pulls about as easy as 1. I'm guessing it depends on the crops you want to grow, if you need to cultivate & with what type of cultivator, ans so forth. If you need to chance width beween rows for different crops, 1 row. If everything works at 30" (or whatever the planter is set at) then 2 row.
