Since my last visit only

My Recent threads will only load the last 5 pages of history. Does anyone know why, and can I correct this problem?

That's because we limit search results to 500 threads. I didn't realize that people would read more than 500 threads on the "since my last visit" search ...

So if I'm gone for 5 days I can only view the last 500 threads? This has never happened to me before yesterday.

I try to check in every day, sometimes twice a day and when I click on since my last post I usually see between 150-250 or more new posts each day. I'd hate to be gone for a week or two. It would take me a day or two just to catch up on all the posts.

Sometimes I am away for a long while and want to read everything. So I just right click on a forum and open it in a new tab and start reading everything thread that interests me. It takes me a few hours. Sometimes even takes me a few days. But it works.

I forgot to add that after I read all the threads in a forum, I use the Forum Tools pull down menu and mark the forum read. That clears things up pretty quickly.
