Simplicity conquest
Hi everyone! My simplicity conquest 4x4 seems to make a loud noise when I go backwards, and if I turn to the right or left, it looks like the front wheels
don't want to drive, they seem to hold back and skid. I changed the transmission oil, and it didn't look too good. But it didn't seem to help, except it made the power steering a little easier. I not sure what else to do, and any of your input would be appreciated

Does it do this in forward or only reverse? If just reverse would point towards a bearing going bad in the front axle that is under thrust in reverse only. Possibly try shaking or moving the input shaft for the front axle.

It only does it in reverse, and I don’t have a shaft, there’s two hydraulic lines going to it

My apologies on assuming mechanical drive
Hydraulic drive I don’t recall how the Deere X7 series work but they do have or did have on models to allow adjustment of front wheel speed vs rear wheel. This should effect both directions of travel though.

sorry again not much help on this.
