What is the difference between the gold and red?

I understand some yeast is a by product of the brewing trade. Since shutdown, and the bars and pubs being shut, the brewers have slowed down beer production. There is talk now of opening bars and our pubs again, so I guess things will get back to normal soon.

Sweetie has tried to maintain a stand of hops out by the green house.. I have no idea what kind of hops it is..

If you Google..... how to make yeast from hops..... There will be a lot of info on that.. We never had to do this, but for instance at the start of the pandemic many complained they could not find yeast on store shelves.. So yeast from hops is an alternative..

Be aware... The kind of hops we have requires quite savage and aggressive measures to keep it from going feral, invasive in taking over an area..
