I read a review in the paper, of popular restaurants in the area. One of the restaurants were talking up their Wagyu burger with bacon jam. But they wanted $20 for it. No Way am I paying 20 bucks for a burger.
A few weeks later my wife found some "Spicy Chili Bacon Jam" at the grocery store. It's pretty good. It's got the flavor of strawberry/rhubarb with little pieces of bacon mixed in.
I haven't tried it on a burger yet but it is good on whole grain wheat crackers...and PB&J toast.
