Sorry to revive this and make it a zombie. In my post just above I said that after a year the voltmeter on the side by side exposed to the weather seemed to have lived up to the waterproof moniker. Well maybe six months after posting, the meter would get fluky after it rained out and read false voltages ranging from 0.3 Vdc to 30 Vdc even though the actual voltage was say 13 Vdc. After a day or two of dry weather it would read fine. Now, two years later, it hardly ever reads properly. The one on the garaged tractor still works okay. Conclusion: not waterproof.
