signed the papers on a 2520

Signed the papers on a new 2520 with a 200cx FEL and a 62D MMM. Decided to go with a ballast box and R4's. Most of the summer it will be mowing about 7 acres with some FEL work and all winter it will be plowing.

Should be coming in about 2 weeks. Hopefully I don't wish I bought bigger. Bought this size because I wanted it to be strong enough to pull some trees and plow while being light enough to mow. Plus anything bigger wouldn't fit in its new house.

Congratulations on the purchase.

I'm glad I didn't buy anything bigger to mow with, and I'm glad I didn't buy anything smaller to use with the FEL. I think it ends up being a good size for a variety of tasks.

I got my new 2520 in September, just in time for this years snow. I have the R4 tires, and a ballast box, and I use the JD front quickhitch & 54" blade. I wanted to be able to plow without having to use chains, and was a little concerned about the preformance I would get, given the fact that a lot of folks aren't big on unchained R4's and snow. This machine has worked great for me. All I had hoped for and more.

I also have the FEL, which I have had little time to use so far, but for the few times I have, I wonder why I didn't have one years ago. Looking forward to this summer, I'm sure I will find many uses for it.

I was originally looking at the 2320, but ultimately opted for the 2520, and I'm very happy with my choice. Never had the slightest twinge of buyers remorse. The machine is the right one for me.

Lots of happy owners of the 2520. Light, nimble for lawns, tractor enough for TRACTOR work

I don't think you will be disappointed.

Might I recommend a box blade?? If I knew what I do now, I would have got one with the signing of the papers of my 790
